Static or dynamic — which should I use?
Use static when the content will never change: a Wi-Fi password, a contact card, a fixed phone number. Use dynamic when the code is printed and the destination might move, or when you want to know how often it is scanned.
Change where a printed code points
Open the code from your dashboard, edit the destination, and save. The change is live within seconds — the printed artwork is untouched because it only ever encoded the short link.
How big should a printed code be?
A good rule of thumb is one tenth of the scanning distance. Scanned from 40 cm, print at least 4 cm. Never go below 2 cm, and always keep the quiet zone — the empty margin around the code — clear of other artwork.
Adding a logo without breaking the code
Keep the logo under 25% of the width. myQRCode raises the error-correction level automatically when a logo is present, but a very dense payload plus a large logo will still fail. Test with two different phones before printing.
Why colour contrast matters
Scanners read the difference between light and dark modules. Light codes on white, or dark codes on black, fail. The studio warns you when contrast drops below a safe ratio — treat that warning as a hard stop for printed material.
What scan data do you store?
For each scan we record a timestamp, a coarse device type, the operating system, the browser, the referring host and the country supplied by the edge network. We do not store IP addresses and we do not set tracking cookies on the redirect.
Generate hundreds of codes at once
Upload a CSV with one row per code, map the name and content columns, pick a shared design and download a ZIP. Everything is generated in your browser, so even a thousand rows takes seconds.
Signing in without a password
Enter your email and we send a six-digit code that is valid for ten minutes. There is no password to forget, and no password to leak. Sessions last thirty days.

Settings has a one-click JSON export of every code and its scan history, and a delete button that removes your account and data immediately.
